wel it was supposed to be Oscar, Mr Wilde, that quoth it: "To be popular, my dear, is to be mediocre" so if a lot of people like your work the chances are it's crap, see: Top of the Pops, Big Brother, Teen Idol, Heartbeat, Paul MaCartney etc etc etc
